We seek a candidate with an outstanding record in supporting astronomical research and coordinating observational programmes, to support the research at the Centre for Cosmic Dawn at the Niels Bohr Institute in the areas of high-redshift galaxies and the variable universe. The candidate should have substantial experience with astronomical data analysis, in particular with photometric monitoring data from the VISTA telescope and from JWST.
The successful applicant will support the high redshift and variable source science programme of the centre. The post may also include performance of other duties.

This is a six month position starting 1 September 2023 and concluding 29 February 2024.

Terms of employment
The employment and salary is made in accordance with the Circular on the Collective Agreement concerning academics in the state sector concluded between the Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).
Employment will be as academic employee. The salary is based on seniority. Negotiation for salary supplement is possible. The working time are 37 hours per week on average. The working hours are flexible. Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
