Laboratory assistant at the Sørensen group at BRIC

The Sørensen group at BRIC is looking for a permanent Laboratory Assistant at 10 hours a week. The position is open for employment 15 August 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.

About us: The Sørensen group at BRIC is a well established research team with thematic focus in genome maintenance, cell proliferation and cancer.

The different job tasks will be:

• Ordering and receiving laboratory goods
• Assist in laboratory organisation
• Prepare and aliquot basic laboratory stock solutions and reagents

Profile:
Essential experience and skills:

• You must be good at working independently and organized, and be self-motivated
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills, both in Danish and English; spoken as written
• You should preferably be present at the Biocenter every week day.

Terms of employment: The employment is made in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Organisations of Public Employees – governmental institutions (the OAO-S collective agreement) and the Professional Agreement for clerical employees, laboratory technicians and IT officers in the state. The position is permanent. The average working hours is 10 hours pr. week. Your employment will be at the Sørensen group at BRIC, University of Copenhagen, located in the Copenhagen Biocentre.
